Mission Statement
The Indiana Filmmakers Network works to facilitate dialogue among film and video makers in the state of Indiana. We endeavor to foster a creative community that provides support, camaraderie and resources to those working to see their visions become reality. Our gatherings are open to all with Hoosier connections who wish to participate.
We envision the Network as a primary resource for film and video makers who work in Indiana, as a launching platform for creativity, and as a true network where all are considered equal, regardless of technical knowledge or commercial success.
The Indiana Filmmakers Network meets monthly at the Hamilton 16 IMAX Exit 10 off I-69. The meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7pm. Anyone interested in filmmaking is welcome.

IFN Lafayette Meeting, April 19th - SOUND!!!

The Lafayette Chapter meeting of IFN will be held Thursday, April 19th, 7-9PM, at the Goodrich Eastside 9 Theater.
The topic this month is "SOUND for film". Our special guest speaker is, Chuck Budreau! He will be presenting a production sound workshop, and showing us how to capture good sound on-set, so you won't have to fix it in post.
Following Chuck's presentation we will have our usual casual networking session.
IFN meetings are always free and open to the public.
Lafayette chapter meetings are held every 3rd Thursday of each month, at Goodrich Eastside 9 Theater, 7pm-9pm or until everyone chooses to leave.

Tuesday April 10th - Our guest speaker will be Denise Jaeckel. Denise is the local representative for SAG-AFTRA. She will bring everyone up to date on the changes that are happening now that the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA have merged into one union.
MAF and IFN Join Forces

The Indiana Filmmakers Network continues to expand across the state. We are very happy to announce a new partnership with The Mid America Filmmakers. The Mid America Filmmakers based in South Bend have joined IFN as an Affiliate Group. The Mid America Filmmakers have been holding meetings and sponsoring film festivals in northern Indiana and southern Michigan for many years. Mid America Filmmakers is a 501C3 not-for-profit group. They meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm, at the Cellar Door Restaurant in the lower level of the Magnuson Grand Hotel located in downtown South Bend at 213 W. Washington. Free parking in the adjoining parking garage. Non-members are welcome. The MAF will be serving as IFN's South Bend Chapter. Special deals will be offered for joint membership in both organizations.
IFN Evansville April 3rd Meeting

Come meet with Representatives from the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) at the next IFN Evansville meeting. Kathy Byrne and Denise Jaeckel will be discussing talent agents, casting, film contracts and anything else you want to know about hiring actors for your productions and working with SAG/AFTRA.
Kathy Byrne is the Director of TV/Theatrical Contracts at Chicago SAG/AFTRA. Previously she worked for the Chicago Film Commission.
Denise Jaeckel is a professional actress living in Indianapolis and a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).
Attend Tuesday April 3rd at Evansville Central Library in the Large Group Room. The Large Group Room is located next to the Government Documents area on the Library’s second floor.
