Indiana Filmmakers Network

Mission Statement

The Indiana Filmmakers Network works to facilitate dialogue among film and video makers in the state of Indiana. We endeavor to foster a creative community that provides support, camaraderie and resources to those working to see their visions become reality. Our gatherings are open to all with Hoosier connections who wish to participate.

We envision the Network as a primary resource for film and video makers who work in Indiana, as a launching platform for creativity, and as a true network where all are considered equal, regardless of technical knowledge or commercial success.

The Indiana Filmmakers Network meets monthly at the Hamilton 16 IMAX Exit 10 off I-69. The meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7pm. Anyone interested in filmmaking is welcome.

Hello fellow IFN folks! Our apologies for the delay in the announcement of the April meeting, but the end of semester tie-ups have been "fun".

Please join us for our April meeting where we will be discussing "Directing Talent from Behind the Camera." Russell McGee will lead you through open directing scenes and introduce you to terminology and methods of speaking and working with your talent. This will give you a starting place to enable you to learn how to work collaboratively with an actor and minimize creative differences that come from breakdowns in communication.

Bloomington Chapter meets the last Tuesday of each month (except December) at 7PM at the IU Innovation Center, room 105, 2719 East 10th street, Bloomington, IN

Video editing is one of the most time-consuming processes in production. Staying efficient during this process can be the difference between meeting and missing deadlines.

In this presentation, IU Cinema Podcast host Andy Hunsucker will do a live demonstration of the video editing workflow he uses to edit his weekly video and audio podcast. You will see how to set up a Premiere template, sync audio to multiple camera angles, use the Multi-Camera panel to make quic
