The Victory International Film Festival will be held from September 12-14 in Evansville, Indiana. Our mission for attendees is to provide a fun and engaging experience that celebrates film and the community of Evansville. Filmmakers will enjoy our $3500 in prizes and the opportunity to have their films screen in venues across our revitalized downtown district.
The opening gala will be held at the historic Victory Theatre, a 1900 seat facility built in 1921 in the heart of the city, on Thursday evening. On Friday and Saturday attendees will view films from around the region, the country, and the world. Venues include the Old National Public Theatre, Innovation Pointe, and the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana.
Showcasing films that might not otherwise have an opportunity to screen in the Evansville, Indiana market. Hoping to educate and entertain filmmakers and students by presenting workshops, screenings, and other opportunities to meet and network with others in the industry and to bring an audience to those films.Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from the festival will go to restoring the original sign that used to hang on the Victory at the corner of NW 6th Street & Main.
The Indiana Filmmakers Network will be in attendance, sitting on panels, and networking!
Submissions are open now through the end of July. Early Bird Deadline May 1st!
