Nathan Bechtold
Chairman & CEO
Nathan Bechtold serves as Chairman and CEO, where he champions filmmaking across the state. A seasoned creative professional, Nathan brings hands‑on experience in acting, directing, production, writing, and more, drawing from his extensive background both in front of and behind the camera. Passionate about growing Indiana’s indie film community, he works tirelessly to empower filmmakers at every stage of their journey — whether they’re just getting started or are industry veterans.
Matthew Ulm
Vice Chair & Communications
Matthew Ulm is a filmmaker and creative producer with a diverse background in producing, directing, and post-production. He is a board member of the Indiana Filmmakers Network and media professional with over twenty years experience. With multiple feature and short film credits, Matthew remains dedicated to growing Indiana’s film community through mentorship, collaboration, and hands-on production.
Crystal Brooks
Secretary & Treasurer
Crystal Brooks is a banking professional with a strong background in finance, community engagement, and client relations. Based in Indianapolis, she serves as a key team member at PNC Bank, where she focuses on helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals. Known for her approachable style and strategic insight, Crystal brings her passion for building lasting relationships and supporting economic growth to IFN.

Indiana Filmmakers Network Inc. is a 501(c)3 educational charitable organization connecting and empowering aspiring filmmakers throughout Indiana, embracing all aspects of media and the arts. IFN Inc. works to bring together Hoosiers, to see their creative visions become reality by providing them with the knowledge, resources, and connections that they need.
IFN Inc. is currently establishing new educational workshops and job readiness programming, and are continually building affiliations, partnerships, and sponsorships. IFN Inc. facilitates multiple events throughout the state. Be on the look out for an event near you.
